Spinal Manipulation
What is Spinal Manipulation
I use methods with similarities to osteopaths and chiropracters, plus the application of my knowledge of Biomechanics and Su Jok Acupuncture. By making specific adjustments to the Muscular Skeletal System I can effectively treat persistent injuries and chronic disorders of the body. In particular: backaches and pains, neck pain, headaches, pain in the limbs, pins & needles and sciatica pain.

How Spinal Manipulation can Help You
I seek, in a holistic way, to treat the cause rather than the symptoms. My main concern is the relationship between the body structure, the nervous and meridian systems. The body is looked upon as a chain of interlinking units each effecting one another. If there is a lack of movement or a blockage between two or more units, other parts of the chain compensate. This may lead to structural imbalance and pain. In diagnosis and treatment I look for major imbalances which may have sparked a whole chain of events.

Diagnosis
An important part of any diagnosis is to exclude any serious underlying illnesses which may be causing the discomfort, therefore all patients will undergo a thorough neurological and orthopaedic examination before any treatment.

For certain cases of structural disorders, patients might be asked to provide x-rays and, if necessary, will be referred to other medical practitioners.
